Mr. Moniz joined Alphite Capital as Managing Director, Credit Research in June 2025. Prior to Alphite, Mr. Moniz was a Partner and member of the investment committee at Boundary Creek Advisors (BCA), a long-short credit fund. His responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting and managing credit opportunities in Europe and the US across the technology, healthcare and packaging sectors. Prior to BCA, Mr. Moniz worked at P Schoenfeld Asset Management (PSAM) focused on performing credit. Before PSAM, Mr. Moniz was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Fore Research and Management (Fore), a multi-strategy hedge fund. During his 15-year tenure at Fore, Mr. Moniz focused on credit opportunities across sovereign bonds, leveraged loans, HY and busted convertible bonds. Before Fore, Mr. Moniz worked at FleetBoston Financial for 3 years as a credit analyst and loan portfolio manager and for 2 years at KPMG Corporate Finance focused on buy and sell-side M&A mandates in the technology sector.

Mr. Moniz has a BS in Electronics Engineering from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore, India and a MS in Finance from Boston College. Mr. Moniz is also a CFA Charterholder.
